Restaurering och förvaltning av Sjömanskyrkan så att en ikonisk plats i Göteborg skall kunna leva vidare i en något ny skepnad.

Sjömanskyrkan

1954 invigdes Sjömansgården, ritad av Vilhelm Mattson, vid Stigbergstorget i Majorna. Byggnaden har sedan dess varit plats för möten och varit en samlingslokal för Stiftelsen Sjömanskyrkan i Göteborgs stift och bytte senare namn till Sjömanskyrkan.

Sjömansgården i Göteborg AB, som är en del av 4D Gruppens koncern, förvärvade under hösten 2020 Sjömanskyrkan i syfte att tillsammans med hyresgäster återskapa byggnadens ursprungliga funktion och områdets karaktär.

Fastigheten sanerades, renoverades och anpassades till hyresgästernas önskemål samtidigt som den behöll sin ursprungliga charm och arkitektur. Vi vill att husets historia skall leva vidare och tillsammans med våra hyresgäster göra huset mer levande.

Bevarande

För att behålla husets charm och arkitektoniska uttryck valde vi att bevara så stora delar som möjligt av det befintliga huset. Stor vikt lades på att inte riva utan istället bevara och lyfta de kvalitéer som redan fanns i fastigheten, så långt som möjligt.

Moderniserade lösningar för nya hyresgäster och besökare

Med nya hyresgäster uppstår nya behov. I nära samarbete med våra nya hyresgäster tog vi fram en komplett lösning för att våra hyresgäster ska få ut så mycket som möjligt av lokalerna och skapa en positiv upplevelse för besökarna.
